Can your truck maintain itself

Can your semi truck maintain itself?

One of the biggest costs of running a vehicle is that of the ongoing maintenance it needs – and of these, the most common is the oil change. For big trucks and specialized units, it can costs hundreds of dollars to flush out the system and buy the filter and oil necessary, and if you’re on the road as part of your job, you can rack up the mileage extremely quickly. What’s the best way to get the most life out of your oil and filters?

Well, we’d like to introduce you to the Kleenoil bypass filtration system!

West Tech Mobile is now a Kleenoil bypass filtration authorized dealer, and that means we are excited to now be offering this cutting-edge technology to our customers. The system is an Onboard Oil Recycling System that doesn’t simply clean the oil in your engine – it filters it in a never-ending, constant process. Dirty oil from the line is passed through and cleaned down to particles that are only one micron in size, leaving oil that may have a better particle count than new oil itself. In comparison, a regular inline oil filter only cleans to as high as 35 microns, and a hydraulic filter to just 25 microns. It’s easy to see which one really removes the most contaminants!

So what are the benefits of the Kleenoil bypass filtration system?

  1. It slows down the internal wear on your engine’s components by removing dirt, metal particles, water, sludge, and other contaminants. You may see the lifespan of some hydraulics and engine parts extended by five times or more.
  2. Less oil changes needed. This reduces the cost of physical materials and the labour included, which really adds up over time.
  3. Reduced environmental impact up to 5x oil drains. The oil is recycled inside the loop, meaning less full drains and less waste oil overall.
  4. The filter will not remove beneficial additives like detergents, rust inhibitors, or anti-foaming agents.
  5. It will not interfere with your OEM warranty.
  6. Best of all, the Kleenoil warranty exceeds the working life of your engine and it can be transferred from one vehicle to another if you get a new one!
  7. This filtration captures the extra soot that would regularly build up in engine oil since new After Treatment regulation systems came up in 2007 (EGR valve introduce 40% of exhaust gases and soot to intake, excessively contaminating the oil)

We are very excited to be able to add this new technology to our already long list of customer offerings! With gas prices rising and many people feeling the pinch on their wallets, we know that many people in Calgary are looking to save money any way that they can. To learn more about the Kleenoil bypass filtration system and its onboard oil recycling method, visit www.kleenoil.ca or simply call West Tech Mobile at 403-265-5699. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have, and to book you in for an appointment to get your own Kleenoil system installed. We look forward to hearing from you!
