About UsWest Tech Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair had humble beginnings starting way back in the year 2000 with just a single truck, providing heavy-duty mobile service for trucks and trailers because you can't always make it to an actual shop when you're in need! We quickly became a trusted name, handling repairs for diesel pickups, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment. By 2004, we expanded with an additional service truck and our very own shop, allowing us to provide more services to oil field customers and southern Alberta clients.

As our reputation spread, we grew again between 2005 and 2007, moving into a larger shop with more bay space to meet the growing needs of our loyal customers. During the 2008-2009 recession, when many businesses faced challenges, our customers’ continued trust and support helped us grow even stronger. In 2010, we reached a major milestone by purchasing our own shop in southeast Calgary. Between 2012 and 2014, we expanded once more, adding a third service truck to our mobile fleet to keep up with the increasing demand for our services. Today, our shop can accommodate five large Class-8 trucks or two tractor-trailer units, and our mobile service operates six days a week to better serve you.
In 2018, West Tech Mobile welcomed Sorin Deaconu as the new owner. Sorin brings a wealth of expertise as a Red Seal-licensed mechanic and APEGA professional engineer, with a background in lean manufacturing, reliability engineering, and heavy-duty equipment design. Under Sorin’s leadership, we’ve expanded our capabilities to include equipment certifications (such as cranes, man-lifts, and booms), structural inspections, and custom parts design. With an APEGA permit, we can now provide engineering solutions, modifications, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to ensure your equipment remains safe, reliable, and effective.
Our mission remains the same: to provide top-tier heavy equipment service, now with even more solutions under one roof.
