A great development from their labs, HydraGen, was created in collaboration with NASA engineering – and it makes diesel engines perform at a level never before seen, while keeping emissions low and cleaner than ever. Unlike the after-treatment systems, where the actual exhaust gases are cleaned through a DPF, DOC, or SCR after the combustion stage, HydraGen actually controls the combustion itself. How HydraGen Technology Works
It works by using distilled water to create hydrogen and oxygen gas, a combination which is introduced into the engine’s air intake – after the air filter, and before the turbo. Using this method, the engine produces up to 55% less particulate matter, meaning less regens, less soot buildup, extended life for your diesel particulate filter and engine components, and less back pressure to the engine.
The unit can run at temperatures as low as -60° C, with a built-in heater that kicks in automatically if needed. It uses a maximum of 15-25 amps in the winter – about the same as your headlights – but it only runs when the engine is on, using energy from the alternator that would otherwise be wasted in order to charge its battery. Consuming less than five litres of water for 3000-5000 km of travel at 105 km/h, refilling the tank is the only maintenance you need to do regularly – and a periodic visit for us to top up the electrolyte inside will keep you going strong.

Here are some results that verified third-party testing produced in Germany:
Despite the presence of hydrogen and oxygen gases, there is no dangerous accumulation of either, as there is no tank installed. The gases are only produced when the system needs it, and because hydrogen is so light, it dissipates almost immediately in case of excess.
